Open Positions

We currently have an open post-doc position (see below). We do not have open PhD positions.

Post-doc Position

We have an open position for a post-doctoral researcher in the general field of Cryptography. Candidates with a PhD degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, and with excellent Cryptography publications, are invited to apply.

You can apply by email to Martin Hirt. Please use the subject "Post-doc Application". Your mail must contain the following items:

  • Application Letter (usually the mail body, alternatively an attached PDF file)
    This letter must contain the following information:
    • list of research positions held so far (including PhD): position, university, supervisor.
    • brief statement of research interests.
  • CV (attached in PDF format)
    The CV should include personal details (full name, date of birth, nationality, country of residence), educational details, research experience, teaching experience, and references.
  • Research interests (attached in PDF format)
    A non-technical exposition of past research and an overview of future research plans.
  • Complete list of publications (attached in PDF format)
  • PhD Thesis (attached in PDF format)
    If the thesis is not finished yet, please specify when it is expected to be finished.
